Capivio ("we", "our", or "the app") is a geography quiz game developed for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

2. Information We Collect

Capivio is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data, and most information stays on your device:

Game Data: High scores, game progress, and preferences (language, appearance mode) are stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.
Game Center: If you choose to use Game Center features (leaderboard), your scores are shared with Apple's Game Center service. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
No Account Required: Capivio does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

3. Third-Party Services

Capivio uses the following third-party services:

Google AdMob: We display advertisements through Google AdMob. Google may collect device information, advertising identifiers, and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. For more information, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
Apple Game Center: Used for leaderboard functionality. Game Center data is managed by Apple according to their privacy practices. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage

All game-related data (scores, settings, progress) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers that collect or store your personal data. If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be removed.

5. Children's Privacy

Capivio is an educational geography game suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app does not require any personal information to use. Advertisements shown may be subject to Google AdMob's policies regarding child-directed content.

6. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete from our end. You can manage your local data by:

Deleting the app to remove all locally stored data
Managing Game Center data through your Apple ID settings
Adjusting ad personalization in your device's privacy settings
